What’s happening during June….

What a busy month June is.

Zoo Trip – We had our annual trip to Belfast zoo, when our own wee monkeys got to meet some other monkeys. Loads of fun was had by children, staff and helpers alike and all at no cost to the children thanks to the fundraising by our hardworking staff and committee.

Sports day and Bbq – The sun put it’s hat on for our annual sports day and we all had a ball. A huge crowd joined us as mummies, daddies, grandies, aunts & uncles all came along to cheer on the little ones. The parents also joined in on the action, taking part in the running, sack and piggy back (with the children, not each other!) races.Then we had a bbq, bouncy castle and ice cream van (delicious Braemar Farm). And to top it all off the Coleraine Fire Brigade came along and the children had great fun with the fire engine. All in all it was a fabulous day and a big thanks to the staff and committee for organising and to all parents and family for supporting and finally last but definitely not least to the children for taking part with such enthusiasm.

Graduation Event – All our children who are moving on in September are invited to the annual graduation event, when they will don their little blue gowns and mortar boards and get their well deserved certificates for a very successful year at playgroup. Parents, carers, grandparents, aunties, uncles, brothers, sisters all welcome to join in on this very proud and special day.

End of Year Party – No playgroup year can end without a party and all children are invited to join in the end of year bash on the last day of playgroup – Friday 27th June. See you there!
